Who's your daddy

Summer is trying to take hold of the Black Hills. As I type this I am sitting on the porch in the back yard, it is 830pm and 70 degrees. What a nice and welcome change. A perfect way to come off the high of a great weekend.

Nothing exciting or new to report. We did the usual - swim lessons, bear country, some shopping, bagels, yard work and quality time with the Ingles. The only change is that in our down time we were outdoors.

Preston and I woke up early for Father's Day to grab Regan & Derek (Stacey had to work) some bagels and coffee. The troop then moved outdoors to tackle mowing, planting, kiddie pool, bounce house, BBQ & hanging out in the sun. Loads of pics, as per the norm.

Preston and I can't thank Regan enough for taking care of us. He makes being a dad, husband & friend seem effortless. We would live in squalor and starve if not for his constant upkeep. Not to mention he also ensures that we are smiling, laughing and entertained. Preston and I know how lucky we are, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY REGAN! Any guy can become a father at any time but it takes someone special to be a daddy. Preston is such a cool kid because of the dad you are.

Dad's Borella & Halsted, thanks for all you do and all the tools you have given us. We like to think you guys did a fine job with us ;) Sorry we couldn't celebrate with you. Miss you and love you.

Happy Father's Day to all of you out there, proud of the dads that our friends and brothers have become.

Nothing really to expand on besides that we are all doing well. Looking forward to a few upcoming trips & a wedding. Regan did tackle the garage clean up and has set up a little home gym. He further outfitted it with his Daddy Day money. Wrapping this up I get to go work out...the first smudge on the weekend. Take that Spokane Biggest Losers...Team Halsted is coming for you!

xoxo

It is always nice to sit on the porch with time to ...sit on the porch. We "still have time to go to the park" according to Riles. So, me sitting around wasting time on the computer is beyond her comprehension
