Well it has happened again...the holidays have passed at light speed. We were lucky enough to be able to go to Spokane, WA for Christmas to be with our friends and the Halsteds. We also were able to extend the stay thanks to mother nature dumping a record amount of snow (80")and ice on Spokane. We can't complain...frankly we wished we could have just stayed we miss it so much.
Christmas Eve we flew into Spokane, we were quite lucky as we flew into a storm and were told that we were about to be diverted to Seattle but the pilot was "at the point of no return". Not sure what that means but we made it there in time to celebrate Christmas morning with the Benavidez and Dentlers. Dinner was with the Halsted fam and Pres got to hang with his cousins Ethan and Rileigh. Was great to be back at home and in the middle of it all.
There was a holiday party to partake in that got all the "Spokane Boys" back together for the first time since Bretts wedding, good times and fantastic to see everyone.
Besides the festivities there was a lot of snow shoveling (on the ground and on roofs), hanging out with friends, being back with the family, sledding and Rowe's Birthday Party.
The trip was great, Preston handled the trip well and we really were able to enjoy being home. We know that we have terrific family and friends but being able to spend Thanksgiving in CA and Christmas/New Years in WA was the best reminder we could have given ourselves as a gift. We are very lucky and miss everyone.
Hope the holidays were great for you and yours.
xoxo

...North Pole...?...OH! Yeah, right. NP makes me think of Santa. My memory of this last Christmas was snow. Nothing but snow.
It was great that you guys made it in-between all the troubles. SeaTac was not faring much better - so we hear. And then, all we heard were the stories of people not making it to where they wanted to go.
Chalk this one up to Regan's luck, if oyu will. I know I am.
And snow has yet to be evil to me. Maybe it is my attitude toward it?
oyu?
you
